WhO dO wE hAvE tO pLeAsE?

After many years of following the trends of society, going through phases of wearing bright patterned leggings to crop tops and high-waisted EVERYTHING, just because all my friends wore them, I came to ask myself: “Who do I have to please?”. Not the queen, not my friends, no one. For ages, I wore clothes that I really had no idea why I was wearing, I just wanted to be just like everyone else. But then I realised that I am really not gonna follow ‘society’s laws of fashion’. Really, why am I wearing things that I only like because anything else that I wear is ‘weird’ and ‘unusual’? As I’m still discovering my sense of style, and broadening my horizons, I wanted to write about how I felt! Who cares what you wear?! Ever heard of Iris Apfel? “I never judge what anyone else wears, after all, I have my own sense of style, and it’s better to be happy than well dressed!”. Life motto right there <– Honestly, if you’re caught up in the wave of society expectations and are getting nowhere, remember that the only person you have to please is YOURSELF! Dress how you want, express YOURself. Don’t get me wrong, I am still changing my style to be completely me, and that is a journey, but seriously, dress to please you, and in what makes you happy!

Also, I’m very happy, because I’ve been posting frequently because all my exams are over! As you probably know, I don’t have an uploading schedule, because honestly, I write when I feel like it and if I had one, then I’d feel like the posts would be forced ?!
