So today, my dear friends, Imi, Hannah and I travelled to the beach, to celebrate the upcoming summer months. We sat on a beautiful ledge which overlooked the Sydney Harbour and its beautiful sparkling waters. We had a delicious picnic lunch and we jumped off the (9m) ledge into the water, (correction: they jumped off and I was a scaredy cat and totally wimped out. Then later, when I felt ready, it was too cold!!).
I wore this tank that I bought at the markets yesterday, which doubles as a swim-top! I tried to bargain for it, but I had some competition, and so I had to settle for $10. But nevertheless, I am still very grateful that I was able to buy it! I wore an old thrifted Zara button up shirt as a cover-up, and when travelling to + from the beach, I also wore some flowy checkered (thrifted) pants and a wide straw hat (from Cuba!)
Here are the snaps:

Welcome warm weather!!!!
Last night, I watched ‘Ellery in Paris’, a fashion documentary about Kym Ellery and her first fashion show in Paris. It was shot beautifully, in black and white, and it gave off great vibes :)))
I’ll leave some fashion doco recommendations here, because I have been watching a lot recently, and if you wanna check ’em out, I’ll tell you my faves:
- The September Issue
- Dior and I
- Ellery in Paris
- Bill Cunningham: New York (I actually haven’t seen this yet, but I am planning to do so as soon as I can lay my hands on it!!)
I have this great Italian assignment for school (which is unusual because I hate Italian assignments normally!). Our task is to research an Italian fashion designer and present our five fav outfits. How great is that?!?! I chose this small brand called MSGM, which has some gorgeous designs. They’re all very bold designs and colours, which I love. Here’s the link to their website.
