I have been doing more shopping, so while I have more stuff to show you, I am also slowly spiralling into the depths of debt (tongue twister?), so I’ll show you some new stuff down below.
I also forgot to say in my last post that I got accepted to go (at the end of the year) on exchange for 2 months!! TO Italy!! One of the homes of fashion!!! I am so excited/scared/nervous and I’m literally throwing myself in there head first, and am not thinking about it at all because if I do, I know I’ll chicken out. But still, I’m so super excited!!! I don’t know yet where I am staying, but I have been accepted into the program after doing an interview, but I am still yet to complete the (7million page long) application, which is taking forever. I will be spending Christmas and pretty much all of my summer (sad, but I’m not complaining!) there. I really hope that I’ll be placed in a place where it snows, because then I get to skiiiii. I’ll update you on the rest of the process, and in case you were wondering, I am leaving in late November.
I was reading this article on refinery29 about this new micro-trend on ‘six inch styling’, which is basically the space between your lower calf and heel, which serves for a prime position of styling for individuals with an attention to detail. I want to try this out in my next post. If you get a chance to look at the article, my favorite ‘style’ is the Prada sandals with the sequin socks :0 If only I had $350 to buy the socks…
Something else is that I cleared out my wardrobe… like really cleared it out. I didn’t throw away anything, I could never bring myself to do that. But I put away some items in a huge garbage bag, just so that I could kind of do something else, and wear different clothes to the ones I’ve been wearing for the past year or two. It’s a bit of a change, as I left myself with only t-shirts and bandeaus (leaving myself with the latter was probably not a good idea, they are what I live in and are well within the centre of my comfort zone). So that brings us to my outfit. As I said before, I want to try out some new things, and mesh is something that can be very tricky to wear, as you need to find a balance between layering and looking completely naked. This is pretty much the first time I’ve worn it so fingers crossed …

I was also thinking of dyeing my hair?!? I really want a change, and I thought that now is the time to try it out! I want to bleach it and then maybe put some light pink into it for a while… I’ve been obsessed with this model called Moffy, and her hair is my inspiration – kinda like a pink version of Mathilda from Léon: The Professional. Here are some photos of her:
