I’m just gonna jump straight into my outfit for today. I was going for a more wintery-spring kinda look, inspired a lot by the jasmine that has just started to come out. It feels like spring has come early this year, which I’m not sure if I should be worried about or not, but I may as well enjoy the warmer weather all I can, as I’m missing almost half of it when I go to Italy. Anyways, jasmine is one of my favourite flowers, and so the time of year when it starts to come out and the air literally smells so good, is my favourite.
I think the clothes inspiration kind of came from a lot of the summery pictures I was seeing online, as a lot of the people I follow are from the northern hemisphere, so I thought adding the scarf was something that would really pull it together and make the whole outfit a lot more suited to the season we’re in (in the southern hemisphere).

***Also, as I mentioned in the other post that this skirt was featured in, no matter how many times I iron it, as soon as I step out of the house, it crinkles again. So if you hate wrinkles, please stop reading now.***
For this week.:
- Hunter The Label – I really like the simplicity and silhouettes of their clothing, plus they’re Aus based!
- Mirador – I’m not sure if I’ve already mentioned them on here before but Mirador’s scarves/wraps are just stunning, and if I could afford them I would buy at least 3 of them. I think that the prints and colours really complement each other, and complement the different ways that they can be worn (if that makes any sense).
- Can I Watch? (feat. Apani B as Nikki) – Viktor Vaughn — my favourite song at the moment.
- Tdposh – ethical fashion + awareness around the concept is really important in this day and age, with a major increase of the fashion industry through social media, meaning that knowing where your clothes come from is something that is growing increasing important. Tolly’s blog expresses this in a really nice way, and her outfits are really cool. If you have the time, definitely read some of her posts.
