Hey there,
It’s been a little while. I had a lot on so I took a little break but now it’s the holidays and it’s finally warm enough to go to the beach again so I’m back to posting regularly. I feel like I haven’t written much on my blog about my life in my recent posts, so I’ll give you a little update. I’ve got a month and a half until I go on exchange, which is crazy because this year has gone so fast and it always felt so far away. I still don’t know where I’m going, and I am so impatient to find out!! But in the meantime, I’m trying to enjoy as much of the warm weather as possible.
I found a really nice book called La Garconne, which is about the modern gentlewoman (descendants of Coco Chanel), but it’s quite expensive so I’ve just been going to the book store and reading it there.
I got another two books, which I can’t recommend to you until I’ve read them, but apparently Picnic at Hanging Rock is very good (one of the books I got). I’ve also been obsessed with playing Candy Crush – I get it now why everyone says it’s so addictive.
For my outfit today, I’m just showing you a slightly more polished version of what I wear every day of the holidays. Also, you’ll have to deal with my self-timer photos as there was no one to help me take photos : (

For my weekly finds:
- I found these earrings in my mum’s jewellery box, and I have worn them every day since – I love the thick band, and the fact that they go with almost every outfit.
- I ordered this 3 step skincare from Yes Nigel, a small instagram brand, and so far I am not unimpressed. The only thing is that the amount of actual product is very small, and so I can probably only use it for the next month or so. But aside from that, everything feels really nice on the skin, and all the ingredients are super organic etc.
- As I said before, I have been obsessed with playing Candy Crush. It is very addictive, and a good way to pass time if you’re waiting in line etc. (although probably not the best for your spatial awareness in public!)
That’s all!
Talk soon,
Sophia : )
